Beauty Recommendation: la Splash Sealer

The search for a glitter adhesive is over! For as long as I can remember I have been using DUO lash adhesive to apply glitter to my lids. The glitter would clump and blending was out of the question. I was a bit hesitant as to how the glitter would apply with this new sealer, but I was completely amazed.

The consistency is not what one would expect (sticky or tacky). It actually almost disappears  if left alone. Glitter adheres beautifully, and the formula allows for easy blending. However, I would not recommend using this sealer as a primer for shadow, it will not blend. It's also fantastic with loose pigment. See a makeup look using the splash sealer, here.

Sometimes I let my accessories pick out my outfit. Today I wanted to wear my vintage scarf as a head wrap (bad hair day) and let the scarf stand out by pairing it with neutral tones, but still keeping it interesting with a printed skirt.

One of my favorite things about getting dressed is finding new ways to style pieces you've worn time and time again. Here I simply tucked a dress into my pants to give the illusion of a blouse instead. More of my recent thrifted finds styled here as well. Thrift shops have quickly become my new obsession!

Tried something new out this weekend: peanut butter and jelly cupcakes! I followed the recipe from this website, but added more cream and less butter (bad idea) for the frosting. It wasn't as solid as it should have been, but still pretty tasty. Not too shabby.
